As a child of God, I always invite God into my day by asking Him what He wants me to do with my time. In 2022, God told me to create motivational wall decorations for my niece. I made these wall art pieces to increase her confidence and remind her of who she is as a child of God. I know firsthand how important it is to know your identity and have unshakeable confidence in who you are. I believe the earlier people develop their confidence and understand who they are, the better off they will be when they become adults. So, I began searching for all the products I would need for this project. Then I wrote out all the motivational words for my niece that would empower her and strengthen her confidence. Since I haven’t done a project like this one, I had to draw out my niece's name, Anai, in my stretch book. Once I figured out where to put the words for each letter of my niece's name, I moved to canvas to start painting. There were about a total of six pieces to the project. My niece had a wall art for everywhere wall in her room from this project. In the end, my niece loved her new wall art. I told her to practice reading these words out loud every day until she believed it. This is the best way to transform her mind and encourage her to love herself more and more.

Materials
2 pack 16 x 20 canvas- Burlington
Apple barrel snow white matte acrylic paint- Walmart
Apple barrel pink parfait matte acrylic paint- Walmart
Apple barrel indoor outdoor gloss acrylic paint black- Walmart
Crazart white chalk- Walmart
Ruler- Walmart
Stencils- Amazon
Process
Step 1
I created a draft for the project by drawing out the project on two pieces of paper. This helped me see the project on paper and see if I needed to make any adjustments before going to the canvas.

Step 2
I mixed the paint colors pink and white to create a light pink color to paint the backgrounds of both canvases.

Step 3
I used white chalk and a ruler to mark out the letters on the canvas. The chalk is easy to remove from the canvas.
Step 4
I used the stencils to create the different words on the canvas and I began painting out the letters with black paint.
Step 5
I used light pink to fix any mistakes on the canvas.
Step 6
I completed the same process on the second canvas.
Step 7
I decided to add hearts to the corners of the letters to add color to the project.

Step 8
Since my niece loves gymnastics, I added gymnastic stickers all over the canvas to make it fun.
Step 9
For the other 4 pieces of the wall art collection, I painted the background purple and used white paint and stencils for the words.

Step 10
I sent some photos to Walgreens to be printed and then I added them to the wall decorations.
