Thank You, God, for allowing us to see another week. Let's thank God for another day and meditate on this scripture for the week.

Scripture: Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the Lord answered thee? and, What hath the Lord spoken? Jeremiah 23:37

So many opinions and voices speak to us daily from various platforms and news outlets. Some of those voices speak to negativity and fear while others uplift and bring hope. But what is God saying to us right now? God is speaking too but are we taking the time to listen to Him and give Him our undivided attention as we do for other sources?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for always speaking to us. Lord, I ask that You help us seek out what You are saying first before going to anything or anyone else. I pray that it would become a habit for us to seek first Your kingdom God and not other sources. Amen.

Reflection

Did this scripture help you today? What did you learn from this scripture? How can you apply Jeremiah 23:37 to your life this week? Do you seek God first? Do you know what God is saying to you in this season of your life?
